How to install a Minecraft map?
1. Go to the folder where all your downloads are located (usually in the download folder), and unzip the .zip file of the map.
2. Locate the ".minecraft" folder (The location varies depending on the operating system):
- Windows: Press the "Windows + R" keys simultaneously and press "%appdata%".
- Mac OS: The "Minecraft" folder is located in: "User > Library > Application Support".
- Linux: Press simultaneously on the "Alt + F2" keys and press ".minecraft" Validate and you will be taken directly to the folder (GNOME only, "CTRL + H" in the personal folder for other graphic environments).
3. Open the "saves" directory and place the map file unzipped in this folder.
4. Close the folder and launch Minecraft. Your game is displayed in the Singleplayer menu.
How to install a Resource pack?

What are the necessary conditions to play your maps with other players?
To play our maps in multiplayer you will need a Minecraft server in vanilla. It is not recommended to use a server with Bukkit or Spigot...
How to install a Minecraft server?
If you have a powerful enough computer you can install a server free on Minecraft thanks to tutorials available on internet like this.
Otherwise, you can go through a server host like BisectHosting Minestrator or OMGServ. However this will require you to pay a subscription for dedicated servers.
What are the server settings used to play your maps?
Some settings will depend on the map you are playing, but for the most part you need to:
- Assign yourself the administration of the server by writing this command in the server terminal: /op [playername]
- Enable the command block. (in the "server.properties" file : "enable-command-block=true".
- Set the gamemode in Adventure : "gamemode=2"
And it is also very important to define a number : the Minimum Render (Chunk vision) "view-distance=" (The number depends of the map setting and will be indicated in the map file README.txt)
Why my game freezes when I play?
Because your game have not enough Ram. Indeed, our maps are huge and consistent in gameplay mechanics and it is strongly advised to allocate enough Ram to your game and server.
How do I allocate enough Ram to Minecraft?
1. Launch the "Minecraft" launcher and go to the "Configurations" tab.
2. Select the profile on which you want to increase the RAM allocated to Minecraft.
3. Click on "More options" located at the bottom right of the screen.
4. Change the text in the JVM ARGUMENTS section "-Xmx2G" to "-Xmx4G", so you will increase the allocated RAM from 2Go to 4Go.
5. Click on "Save".

Where can I download your adventures maps?
You can download maps through the site menu Adventquest in « DOWNLOAD ».
Can I use mods to play your adventure map?
It is pretty inadvisable to use mods changing the gameplay on our maps adventures, since they were created for the Vanilla Minecraft. Nevertheless, certain modes as Optifine can be very useful and does not cause any problems.
